in 2001 I remember my adult students in Japan challenging me (for fun hopefully) to take the test that they were all struggling with, you guessed it, the TOEIC. I took them up on the challenge and luckily got 990, so they kept studying with me. now it is the TOEFL. Critical thinking skills are essential as are mental organizational skills. So, I plan to do just that.
