OK, I agree, there is very little to be critical about the recent SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy launch, but I would like to make one observation that may have just been an oversight: Why couldn’t the Tesla navigator, StarMAN (who can’t be seen inside a spacesuit) be named the not-so-catchy but neutral StarPerson, or StarGoer, or whatever.
SpaceX is an inspiration to all, so why not be a little more inclusive and make the pilot a she or a he. For such a gender neutral and equal opportunity for all company like SpaceX I would have expected that of them.
Most, if not all, children dream of becoming an astronaut at some point, so why not put a gender neutral pilot in the seat?
Just one , but not trivial, criticism of the truly awesome feat that was accomplished by SpaceX.
