Learning is “constructed”, and construction requires a solid foundation. Music helps create this foundation.

If it was important enough for Einstein than it is something we all should bring the power that music has in learning back into our schools in some way. As a parent, if you can play an instrument and have some time, ask your school how you can get involved as a volunteer – they would love to have you.
